I am not sure what is important to know about me, but here goes. I am self taught, no degrees or formal training in photography or art of any sort.

I was born and raised in Appalachia, southern West Virginia to be exact.   Have been playing around with photography off and on since the late 1970s.  Since retiring, it has become a more serious hobby or avocation of sorts.  I now live in the middle of North Carolina.

I have done zines and have been part of various shows and exhibitions. Had two pieces in the Durham Art Guild juried show in 2021, was part of a two person show at Skylight Gallery in Hillsborough, NC, in 2024, had six pieces in a fifty artist show at Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, Brooklyn, NY, in the summer of 2024, and have had a piece recently accepted into the ArtFields art festival in Lake City, SC, this coming spring, 2025.

I write here about my process and to also post a few images, and no, I do not have an instagram or any other social media presence, and I highly recommend it.
