Yes, it is coming back, probably within the month. I am on the fence about the format/size of the zine. Was considering going back to the large zine size, but would like some feedback. The people who have had the physical zines in your hands, which do you prefer, the original large zine, or the more recent compact model. Thanks!

Hi, Chuck, Scale is (or should be) an important consideration in art. How do you feel the different sizes affect the perception of the images? One could make the case for both though personally I found the smaller scale pleasing in a practical way: more intimate, diary-like. The larger size visually refers to a magazine-style format (to my sensibility anyway.) I would strongly recommend that you sign up for the next crit at the Durham Art Guild. Last I saw you there, we were in the gallery for the first gathering. I encouraged a friend of mine to come to the most recent one two weeks ago. So far, it’s a quarterly event but the interest has grown and there’s talk of doing this more frequently. Hope all is well with you, Wendy

Hi Wendy, I arrived at a decision after a friend commented about the two versions. It will depend on the content. The ones that are mostly balanced will be small, more intimate. The ones that are more or all about the photography, will be the larger scale, to highlight the images. Frankly I have zero interest in the whole portfolio review type culture, but thanks for the suggestion.
