The thing I hinted about in my last post has come to pass. I heard Tuesday that I had been chosen to be part of a two person show at the Skylight Gallery in Hillsborough, NC, run by the Hillsborough Artists Cooperative. The other person in the show is an encaustic mostly abstract artist, which is a nice fit I think. It will open Friday, February 23, and run until March 24. It is a small intimate space, which I like. My intention is to use images from my most recent abstract work. Obviously I will be posting more about this as it gets closer.

I am excited and humbled by the opportunity.
Cheers!

Thanks! The timing is actually just right. I have been working on a new series of images that should all work well together.

This is really really cool! I’m not 100% sure WP likes phone comments, will check later to see if this gets through. I also have to look up one of the words you used.

I was about to ask for an update on the exhibit. And then I slowed down. “Scott, the dates are probably in the post, and you’ve forgotten them.” Sure enough. Patience.

Chuck, thought about you today. There’s a show on Prime I’m considering watching before I cancel. I’m not particularly interested in it, but it’s got Barry Keoghan (sp?). He was so good in the Banshees of Inishmore (sp? again).
