I submitted three pieces to the Durham Art Guild juried exhibition which opens December 19th. I found out yesterday that one of my pieces was accepted, and not one of the two I expected.

This is a pretty large piece, as all of the squares are 12×12, and the rectangles are 16×20. These started out as individual pieces, and then I saw a similar idea this past February at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art in Richmond, so I decided to try and combine them into one, and really liked the result. There are words associated with each piece, and that is where the title came from.

It has been patiently hanging on my wall, waiting for its debut.
