I started this piece a year ago, and posted a photo of it here on or around the 4th.
I submitted it to Artfields 2026, but it did not get in. After seeing the art at Artfields this year, I decided it was not a strong enough piece, and didn’t deserve to be included in the festival. Some time later I added the handprints, and just recently added the additional black and white collage images.
It is on view at Skylight Gallery in Hillsborough, NC, during July and August, weekends from 12:00 to 5:00.
