Sunday is the day you go pick up your art piece and head home. But instead of picking up my piece, I picked up a check for the purchase of my piece from the owner of the business where my photo was on view. He picked my photo to appear in his business location, and when I went in Saturday to see about the pick up schedule for Sunday, he told me how much he liked my image and said he wanted to buy it, yay me.

This is what every artist wants to see, that red dot indicating your art has sold. And since the owner of the business, and full time resident of Lake City is the one who bought my piece, it will be at Artfields in spirit for at least the near future.
